The 2022 edition of the European Academy of Forensic Science Conference (EAFS22) took place in Stockholm from May 30th to June 3rd, 2022 with more than 1200 police enforcers, forensics professionals, researchers and companies attending the event.
This year EAFS2022 included a European Day which took place on Thursday June 2nd, a special day to promote the work supported by EU funding over the last decade and at present, disseminating results and discussing future challenges for the forensic community and law enforcement. The GRACE project was showcased in the event by the means of a stand where attendants had the chance to get to know the GRACE project goals and progress so far. Representatives from law enforcement and researchers from European and US universities were informed about GRACE by project partners VICOMTECH and the National Institute of Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC) at the Conference. The European Day was also the venue of different workshops where other related EU funded projects were showcased such as STARLIGHT, PopAI and CYCLOPES, amongst others.
